How to open MS PowerPoint on a personal computer?
Follow the steps below to open MS PowerPoint on a personal computer:
- Click on the start button
- Then choose “All Programs”
- Next step is to select “MS Office”
- Under MS Office, click on the “MS PowerPoint”
A blank presentation is open on the screen. According to the requirement, a person can modify the template for a presentation and start using the program.

A combination of various slides depicting a graphical and visual interpretation of data, to present information in a more creative and interactive manner is called a PowerPoint presentation or PPT.
File
The file is in the menu bar of PowerPoint, in the file, MS PowerPoint is given commands to close Home, New, Open, Info, Save, Save As, History, Print, Share, Export and Close.
Quick Access Toolbar
You can add most of the working commands to the Quick Access Toolbar, with the help of this, the work in MS PowerPoint can be done a little faster. Quick Access Toolbar is in the title bar.
Title Bar
The Title Bar is at the top of the MS PowerPoint window, the title bar shows the name of the file created by MS PowerPoint. But as soon as you save that file, the name of that file is written instead of "Presentation1". There are three buttons on the right side of the title bar
1. Minimize – By clicking on this button, the icon of the open program goes to the taskbar.
Maximize – By clicking on this button, the width of the window can be reduced or increased.
3. Close – By clicking on this button, you can close your open program.
Ribbon
Ribbon is an important part of MS Power Point which is below the title bar, inside the Ribbon itself all the important tools. The red color part shown in the image above is ribbon.
